Retro Cars Mag out on Thursday!!

Slightly biased, as we're in it!!

All the mags are struggling though at the mo, so go and buy it and have a good laugh at my ugly mug in there!!

There is a feature on us as a company (Retropower) and also a feature on Curt Pattinsons Opel Ascona 400 that we finished in July:

Have a look, should be a good mag!

No its not been featured yet. The one featured previously was Gerard O'Connell's, based as you would expect by the name, in Ireland.

Retro Cars didn't initially want to feature Curt's car this soon, but they saw it at the VBOA show at billing aquadrome and said they had to get it in pretty quickly!!

Gerard was also at the show and we had a chat and he seemed pretty impressed with Curt's car!

Yea, your mate was in touch, I gather his circumstances have changed a bit and he's decided to get it pushed along a bit. Looking forward to working on another ascona!

To put things in perspective to those not so familiar with these cars, there are only a handful, literally, of these 2 door cars in existence in the uk in rhd form, almost certainly less than 10.

bloody hell small world!!!

LOL never ceases to amaze me who knows who!

Can you message me his number, as I've managed to lose it! I could get hold of it via manta owners club forum but I'm already typing on here!

Is this regarding v8 manta manifolds?

I'd got the idea he was making his own now............

Ahh, I do apreciate the rarity that is the 2 dr ascona, hence me thinking that this was the same car as the other white ascona 400 that Retro Power built

I give up

All I hear in work for the last year is ascona this ascona that, then I get shown a mag with that other ascona in, then you build an ascona that looks v similar, I'm all ascona'd out!

Are you sure there's <10 left lol.
