Volvo V70 Review?
Hi All,
Well, looking at changing jobs again, which means getting my own car again!
I'm looking at a Volvo V70 2.4TDi.
Anyone have any experiences with these? I'd rather hear of actual experiences than philosophy.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I had an S reg V70 AWD 2.3 T5 and it was quite simply the best car i've ever had, i really miss it. I paid about 1400 quid for it with 125k and
sold it for 1250 a year later with 155k on it. I changed it for an 07 S40 2.0D which is the second best car ive had.
What age are you thinking of getting? We are thinking of changing for a v70 since the little'un arrived. Love the D5 engine if you can afford
the tyres

Well, i am only looking for a good workhorse up to about £800. Ive seen 2002 petrol versions sell for less than this, but i would like a diesel.
The particular one im looking at is a 1998 TDi with over 200,000 miles. To be honest, im not worried about the mileage as long as there is some
relevant service history and it has been looked after. If i get a year out of it, then its £500 well spent.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

They are great cars mine was immaculate full leather, lecky and heated seats, air con. only thing it didn't have was cruise.
My AWD struggled to get over about 23MPG and around 17 in town. I would have loved a diesel but they are worth a lot more than the petrols
