They are for around here (Quebec, Canada), where the motorcycle insurance has gone through the roof. Also, don't need a motorcycle licence, so
all the old people with no balance can drive one just as badly as they drive cars. Getting quite popular. No opinion on them other than it's
good for our economy for Bombardier to sell lots of them.

Oddly.. to me at least, Geriatrics and apparently Germans love the things.
Well over 200,000 units have been sold..!! Boggles My imagination.
Unlike a moto when cornering G Forces tend to push (throw?) one off the seat. Locally a couple of inept 80 year olds have met their maker as result.
IMO : Buy a Car OR buy a Moto, those things are neither. Just Stupid monstrosities to ride.

You can buy a 'quad' in Germany with a single rear wheel.

These are pretty popular over here in France. The importer apparently can't get enough to satisfy demand.
They have an odd mix of attributes but are appealing to more mature customers who already have the nice car, the 4X4, maybe a bike. They are an
expensive toy really but the 1000cc v twin makes them go well.
They have power steering and an anti roll-over device that cuts the engine power when you start to try and play with it. They are also very softly
sprung with very little in the way of anti-roll meaning that they just load up the outside front wheel the moment you start to try and get anything of
a move on.
I have one coming in later in the year for a full diagnostic and a new set of shocks. I will keep you posted if you like.

If the riders (inept 80 yr olds) batted out so long, what a helluva way to check out!!
Signed Inept 63 year old.
ps. I've seen a few out here in the summer months, normally German or Swiss reg. The riders are still trussed up like turkeys in their leathers
when it's 35c. (Geriatric or not).
