Was it worth it????
Was keeping an eye on fleabay auction for a concrete garage 6.3 x 3.8 x 2.54 and it's just gone for £600.
What's the general consensus on that price?
I need something to put the latest project in and it strikes me you could buy an awful lot of temporary garages for 600 notes but there again that
structure would make a very nice Slough shed

I often see concrete garages in the local papers and free advertiser offered free to anyone that dismantles and removes them.If that a new price and
delivery is possible then its not bad.

Was that new? They go round here second hand either free to collector or for like 20 quid. Not alot. To get a longer one just get 2.

Depands largely on your having the luck to be in the right place at the right time, keeping an eye on the small ads etc increases your chances but you
still need luck!
My workshop was 2 years old when I bought it at a disposal auction for a market gardener that had died, £620 (a few years ago to be fair!) for a steel
framed shed 36' long, 14' wide & 8' high, totally clad in box profile sheet with doors. Not as secure as a concrete garage but
great value. I had the good luck that no-one else wanted to take it down!
I spent considerably more extending it & putting it back up though!

Thanks guys - yes I thought it a tad expensive for a second- maybe third-hand one.
It was dismantled though.
Now thinking maybe it would be fun to build my own wooden one - any ideas on sawn timber?
Still I suppose if the small ads prove fruitful it's a waste of time, effort and money.

I was looking at these 6months ago and I could get a new one delivered, built with an up and over door for £1200.
