Garmin GPS Q?
Got some spare cash off santa so I went round the Halfords and purchased, at half price, a Garmin nuvi 1490LMT....
Now I find when I turn it on, which I've done a fair bit of updating the software and maps it always asks for location - UK - and user agreement
plus a disclaimer for using it on the move... I find this totally unnecessary and a pain in the butt...
Is there anyway to turn this off and go straight to the navi screen!!!!

It clearly mistrusts you!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Have you tried waiting and seeing what happens? Some time out after a while and assume you agree.
