Code reader
Hi,
Have a issue with light on cars dash and was wandering if anyone has any reviews or info about the code readers or vag com lead kits on eBay that are
cheapish
Vagcom kits are about £10 for lead a software or handheld code readers at £22
It's a new beetle that I need to sort out

I have an interface I use with my laptop I bought of ebay and works great for standard engine faults. If you are stuck you could always bring the car
down to me and plug it in.
It proved most valuable recently when the father in laws Z3 failed mot on emissions. I used it to check output from lambda sensor which showed it was
faulty.
You shouldnt need any fancy leads it will probably have and OBD2 connector under dash.
