Free F1
Thought some of you guys that, like me, refuse to get Sky might be interested in this...
www.vipbox.tv
I was up at 6am to watch the F1 on it and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth it is!! Just click on the SkyF1 box and it will take you to live Sky
streaming of the F1 channel. Not HD but it doesn't bother me...
Looks like Jensen is the new Vettel and Hamilton is the new Barrichello! Go on Jensen!

I watched it live on RTL with the R5L as i also refuse to line murdocks pockets anymore than i have to!
I also found a website stream of the Sky F1 channel which was handy for the build up! glad i don't pay for the channel the build up lacked the
quality of the beebs build up. sky need to learn less is more!
Handy to find another link though
ps Button as Vettel won't last when the car isn't 100%

All opinions rather than fact but I rate Button as good as Vettel. I think if they were in the same machinery it would be very very close. I think
the Canada race last year showed just how skilful Jensen is, a truly epic drive.
Button will win the championship this year in my opinion, but we will see....

How was the RTLfeed for adverts and synchronisation with R5L? I gave that option serious consideration, and will be giving it a rethought if Sky start
charging for the F1 channel. BTW I think you can get a subscriber module for about £100 a year for RTL HD

Geoff, it was better than expected, even though RTL is in SD it seems a lot better than any SD feed on 28.2 maybe because the receiver i'm using
on 19.2 is HDMI HD
The sound was slightly forward of the picture by about 3 secs so recorded R5L on the sky+ box so i could sync it. some of the RTL ads are PIP so not
so bad and you can still hear what's going on.

David,
Just be careful that you do not end up a victim of extraordinary rendition or deportation to the US of A for handing out links to free streaming
websites!
