Kenwood audio connector to ISO

Ok, so in the minari I had to forcibly rip out the radio by bending the sides of the radio in with a screwdrivers. It had no face plate and I didn't know what make it was so I couldn't get keys for it. Now I've got it out however I want to put a new radio in there.

Now, the connector thats on the cars wiring loom is a Kenwood audio connector as pictured below:

What I want to do is convert this to a standard ISO audio connector. Now I know next to nothing about audio wiring so you'll have to bear with me. I cant find a connector to go from a female kenwood audio connector to a male ISO connector. I can find one that goes from an ISO system into the back of a Kenwood stereo but thats no good to me!

Now, I could bond all the pins into the connector thats currently on the back of the broken radio unit then desolder the connector and wire up a converter, but I dont really want to if I can avoid it.

So, does anybody know of anywhere that sells the appropriate cable?

Any suggestions you have are appreciated!

There's only a few cables to figure out ( two for each speaker, switched live, live, earth and possibly power aerial and illumination.)

I'd crack out the multimeter, cut the plug off and wire up an iso ready to plug into most stereos. Most that don't accept iso will have a small loom adapter anyway so you'll have the best of both worlds.

You may find the kenwood uses standard colours like a standard iso, in which case it'll be even easier!

Colours just visible in this diagram...

Iirc your new radio will come with a branded plug to bare wires... Live, ignition and earth will be the same colours, then you have two sets of ones the same colour but one of each has a black stripe (i.e. orange/orange and black, purple/purple and black) and they're the speakers

Does a Minari have a Kenwood as standard so the wires go from the back of the black kenwood plug into the loom and dont have any solder or crimp joins?

If so its obviously a cut and join job. Wiring is as per previous attached.Cut as close to the plug as you can if your not going to sell or use it.

If the Kenwood has been retro fitted I would find the joins and cut there to neaten thefitment up. IIRC Brand new kenwood units come with an ISO lead so pull out the wiring and you may find an ISO plug.

This is an easy job. Can be quite hard to crimp if you dont have much wire or large crimps

You can buy ISO to nothing pluge from tinternet or halfrauds.

I would not try and join wires into the front of the Kenwood plug. Thats just bad practice and wont work at all.
