The cheek of some people!!!
Further to my thread here:
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=169306
Where I was wanting to give away some old build wheels. I advertised them on gumtree and on here and quite frankly I'm astounded by the cheek of
some people.
1 guy has tried to phone me using reverse charges 6 times!!
Another wanted to know if I would deliver them (around 20 miles from my house), I said sure if you chuck me a tenner for fuel (fair i thought) and he
declined saying it was too much
The wheels were bloody FREE!
I knew the scottish had a reputation of tightness but this takes the biscuit

I had similar when I tried to give a fridge away on freecycle. Add went thus
'Undercounter fridge, white, couple of mild dents and a bit scratched however works fine. Pick up only - free to good home'
Lots of people asked me to deliver, lots asked me to exactly describe the scratches/dents etc. Some asked to meet me half way.
Grrrrrrrr - it's free, what more do you want.

Leave them outside your house with a 'for sale £50' sign.
They will be gone within the hour.
If you have them with a sign saying 'free, please take them' they may still be there a few days later.
