Another lathe job needed please!
Hoping one of you lathe-owning builders can help me out again.
I need some adaptors made up to fit my scooter wheels onto my kart hubs.
This thread will explain if that means nothing to you: http://locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/8/viewthread.php?tid=169652
My plan is to buy two of these:
eBay Item
...but I need ~38mm hole cutting in the middle of each one to fit on the kart hub. I don't have drill bits that big (of course!) and it needs
to be absolutely central to avoid the wheels wobbling.
Obviously it will need a decent sized lathe so that the jaws will open >100mm.
I'll have the alu bits posted direct to you, so I'd just need the centres cut out and popped in the post again.
Can anyone oblige in exchange for a few beer tokens, please?
Cheers, Chris

I can do those for you if you get them sent to me!
If you don't want them to wobble the billet will need facing. I'd then bore the hole and true the outer edge to it to increase the chance
of decent balance! If you know the location of other holes I have a rotary table and mill to hand as well

That'd be great if you're happy to do so. Yes, ideally the billets would be faced but this is only a toy so I wasn't going to ask
too much of anyone. Sounds like it will be easy stuff for you though!
Regarding the mill, would you be willing to put some new keyways into a kart axle for me, too?
