workshop / storage sharing

Thinking about looking for a small workshop/unit to rent possibly to share with other like minded individuals. predominantly cost driven (Wondering f anyone has any experience of this in practice and is there anything to be mindful of?

There is a unit next to me that is shared by 3-4 young lads all in to drifting and modded type cars, their biggest complaint about each other is that their tools go for little walks around the unit. If you plan to leave tools there I would buy a few old office filing cabinets/cupboards and keep every thing locked up,even if you work till late the last thing you do is put every thing away. That way there is no chance of any body getting upset by finding their fav toys missing.
