Paint stripper
I'm stripping the underside of my SD1 to bare metal
Does anyone have recommendations as to what is the best underseal/paint stripper?
Thank

Blue open paint strip disks work well (dont last long) worth a go. Even removed underseal for me.

A good sharp wood chisel about 25mm wide is good to remove under seal

For underseal, try spraying with Diesel and leaving to soften it, then scrape off.
I have very recently used "paint panther" paint stripper to get paint off some alloy wheels. It wporked better than anticipated, and
didn't dry out even overnight like the old DCM strippers (though ultimately the are better)

not locost but ice blasting is supposed to be excellent for under seal as it makes it so brittle. If you've only a little i wonder if you could
repurpose a pipe freezing kit.

Oh I can only imagine all the horrors that lurk under all that bitumen
The SD1 is such a stunning looking car though, and the styling is still modern looking. Always fancied buying one but the running cost..., yikes.
Would be nice to see some pictures of it.
