Learner driver insurance for twins
Afternoon all,
Looking to insure my twins as learner drivers on a single vehicle (not the family tin top) for teaching and practice.
Obviously 1 may pass sooner than the other, which requires a change to new driver insurance as well.
Any insurer (or even price comparison site) recommendations?
Thanks

Just try the usual comparison sites. As learners it won't be too painful. It is once one passes it will make your eyes water... So may be worth
checking that price too.

Yep, basically add a zero. I've been getting quotes for my daughter, as a learner driver it's comparable to my old fogey insurance. With a
full licence the quote started with the headline 'drop your pants and bend over'....
I don't think twins makes much of a difference, can you still get an 'any driver' policy? I don't know if such a thing still
exists, given how ripe they were for misuse.

Got a 19 yr old been through learning (not too expensive insurance) and passing (MEGA expensive insurance).
Well aware of the price hike pain barrier.
Speaking to a couple of insurers it seems each twin has to have their own policy. Still double bubble on the price
Hope they get used to sharing a vehicle!

As it is only for learning at the moment, it may be cheaper to insure yourself as the main driver and add them both as named drivers. It cost next to
nothing to add two of our sons (2 years apart, but learning at the same time) to my wife's insurance.
