Brandshatch Fri 31st Jan

Anyone at Brands on the 31st? Come say Hi if you are! I'll be blowing the cobwebs off the Clio and a good friend is bringing his Caterham Academy racer.

Not a bad day. Got a good half hour session in the AM but the damp track was spoiling the lap times. Fortunately it was drying after lunch and here is a video of my only afternoon session. Sadly that was the only pm session as I was black flagged for noise (96+, limit is 92!).

There was decent grip on line but patches of damp in a few places made made it a little slippy but managed a fastest lap of 57.8 on lap 6. But it wasn't that clean sadly as mistakes in Druids and Graham Hill lost a good few tenths, borne out by the following lap being cleaner and showing 7 tenths up before having to slow for traffic in to Surtees. All bodes well, as a 57 dead would put me in the top 7 quali for last years race.

Black flagged for noise in a Clio?! What exhaust are you running? That doesn't bode well for my relatively noisy car...
