Clear airbox with velocity stacks?
sucksqueezebangblow - 31/3/10 at 11:54 AM

I'm sure someone on here had bought a clear plastic airbox with ally velocity stacks for their Busa BEC. Anybody know where the air box comes from and who supplies them?

John Hartley of V8 Hayabusa fame has a clear air box and billet velocity stacks available here in the US. I've used them on a Hayabusa Fury.

I can supply them if you're seriously interested.

Hi Chet,

What size stacks will fit? Will the original Hayabusa long curved rubber stacks fit? If not can the plenum be supplied with 2x41mm and 2x72mm stacks or indeed 4x60mm stacks and what would be the cost?

I did indeed get mine from John Hartley in the US. Not sure if he is still able to supply them though. He had a pair of them on the busa v8 which he developed.

Seemed a shame to cover it up...hence the see-through bubble which I developed for the Phoenix bonnet.
