seats with headrest for MK4 clubman / phoenix
alfas - 9/7/15 at 08:50 PM

can anybody tell me which (affordable) seats, with headrest will fit a MK4 clubman/phoenix? or any other ideas?

the car is planed to be used as a race-car only, so it should be something supporting, as well safe (headrest).

i ask the question cause the cockpit area of those cars is really narrow.

We have just developed this race seat,

Andy at Ab performance has these in his new Arion race cars,

super light very strong and base fixings for runners,

narrow at only 36 cm wide

Many, myself included, have used these with some success. http://www.jkcomposites.com/7s-page.html

They are a little snug around the hips for some which is why I have been looking at alternatives recently which are slightly lower cut around the hip area but I am still looking (and in the meantime I will build my car up with JK seats because I already have a new pair )

do you have some measurements for me?

due to our race-rules the seat will be directly bolted to the floor (without runners) and will have at least 15cm gap to the rear bulkhead (as my legs are rather short)...means vice-versa, the seat will be mounted far at front (phoenix gets narrower at front).

do i need extra support for the backrest, as its not in contact / supported from anything?

my favourites are kirkey seats....does a 14" kirkey seat fit??
