Hi

Have any of you fellas put anything between the top tub and side panels such as wing piping or sealant ?

Just spent the weekend trimming the top of the dash to fit flush with the tub but after the 20th trial fit i just cheated and used chassis sponge to fill the gaps.

Thanks

I thought it was a good idea to use sponge or similar anyway to stop the two panels from rubbing as you drive? I was planning on using black draught excluder type sponge (or whatever a good waterproof automotive equivalent would be).

Nick, I must admit, I was fully intending to put some thin foam between said panels. However, totally forgot!. I think it's a good idea, and next time I have reason to remove my tub, I will be doing the same.

Thanks for the replys

I had thought of rubber wing piping with the bead on the inside to make the join between panels neat with a bit of waterproofing ? or anti rub built in.
