Sylva Striker fly screen?
CraigJ - 20/11/15 at 04:07 PM

Can anyone tell me if the Fly screen for a striker will pass IVA?

Thinking of making one for the car (or buying one if someone has one they want rid of)

What height can I go to before it is classed as a windscreen?

Pekwah1 (Andy put his through SVA with a small screen

Why not put it on after IVA?

If it will cause issues then that is what will happen, but if there wont be an issue then I might fit one before.

Mine passed sva with one needed a letter from raw to confirm what it was made of and had to round the top edge off maybe worth ringing raw to confirm ?

I have a full screen for sale if you want to chop it down. That's how the fly screens are made. U2U me if you are interested.

Sorry no idea about the IVA but I do have an unwanted Striker flyscreen, was looking for £20 including delivery. Its been used but should clean up fine.

Just found a picture of it

Unless it means major abortive work, the less on the car for IVA, the less there is to fail on!

its a wind deflector...if its not too high, there shouldnt be a problem for IVA.

It's not worth the risk of a retest at iva. It is open to the testers interpretation which is never a good thing.

Leave it off till the IVA is passed then bolt it on.
