Exhaust Silencer Builder

Can anyone recomend somewhere in Oxfordshire or within decent driving time to have a silencer built for my fury. The last 2 sprints were way over the 105db, so I repacked it and still came in at 106db. this will fail all of the sprints I do in the south of England so need a plan before the start of next year.

any help will be much appreciated.

Before you spend on a new silencer how big is the one you have and more importantly what are you packing it with?

I will have to have a better measure up but 20inchs long and looks like 5inch round. I had some packing from wunoff exhausts that was a white mat not sure what it was but fitted in the exhaust not tight but full.

Google acustafil or search on here, good stuff may be worth a shot, what's your target 105?

Yeah 105 is the max but needs to be much lower for Goodwood. Will have a go with the acustafil I have plenty of time

I saw your thread and when you filled it loose did it end up filling the can and did it make your car quieter

Simpson race exhausts are not far away, I can fault there work and they made the exhaust just how I needed it so don't have any issues with noise levels and plenty of breathing for good power.

Don't pack it too full, at some critical point it basically turns into a straight through pipe which will increase the noise. I vaguely remember a thread about someone following the packing instructions and it actually ended up too full, they removed some and the noise came right down.
