Arash Farboud car on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kit-Car-and-Racing-Car-Arash-LMP2_W0QQitemZ190317724184QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item2c4fd20218&_trksid=p3286.c 0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A7%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

and some history.....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arash_Farboud

I saw one of the farboud cars on the Autosport show a few years ago, but when you poked your head under the car you could see it was nothing but a crude metal spaceframe with a pretty GRP skin over the top. Not worth the price IMHO.

Hmmm, that Wikipedia entry reads like a press release from his PA..

All Wiki pages should be taken with a pinch of sodium chloride.

From memory, Mr Farboud wanted an Enzo, Ferrari wouldn't sell him one, so he said 'Fine, I'll build my own but better'

And from what I heard he then spent huge amounts of his (or his families???) money failing to do so.

wonder how much it would cost to fix if you had even a small prang? Effectively written off? It’s not like you could go and get some spares

Engine is out of a Audi RS4 (B5 2.7 V6) so that shouildn't be an issue. Bodywork would be the biggest problem.

I belive it was a certain porsche that they wouldn't let him buy so he built a replica. I had a look round it and it was pretty nice.

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with him about a year ago.

You have go to give the guy some credit for doing what we would all want to do if we had the cash!
