Whats my Radiator

OK so I know most of us use the polo rad but having looked at my car I do not know what this is off. You will notice that the fan switch is on the other side to the hose inlets and that the bleed for the rad is at the bottom so by the looks of it my rad is fitted upside down to what it was intended for.
It is about 520 x 320

I was going to say it was upside down. Looks the same size as the Polo ones though

Interesting Chassis....quite different at the front than a stock Fury.

Is that one of the lowered race chassis?

Yes,that looks like a (lowered) race chassis. There are several slightly different designes of bracng though.

The rad is a VW but not the normal one thats used (there's dozens) I'll look it up in my chart later but I suspect someone bought the wrong one with the in/outlets on the right and inverted it rather than swap for the right one.

Exactly what is fitted on my car, and mine was supplied by Fury Sports Cars,...

I thought that it was upside down too, but it seems to work,...

In fact the chassis front looks the same,. but mine is not a light weight race version, just a Fury Sports Cars rebuild after the crash

According to my SerckMarston catalog, it's pt no 2719869, originally fitted (only) to VW Passat Mk3 '88-'93 1.6lt non-AC.

Normal one used is 2719819 thats the same dimentions but with outlets on the opposite side. Only thing to change would be the bleed pipe and wiring to the sensor (as thats between the in/outlets).

Are your rocker arm pivot/mounts that high above the top chassis rail?

Yeah they are 60mm higher than standard

Dunno but I found a Seat Cordoba rad that fit (the right way up) in that space with the hoses in the right places...it's a little wider, though...about 640mm from memory

I'll see if I can spot a part number on it tonight if you want?

When this Fury got a new chassis BGH could not supply a lowered race chassis therefore a road chassis was modified by moving all the suspension mounts and differential mounts up to achieve the correct ride height.
