Immobiliser for Tiger Avon

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to remove the steering lock from my Tiger before it goes for IVA - I don't really want to cut a hole in the dashboard where the ignition barrel is as I plan to put a couple of switches there.

I know that I'll have to fit a CAT 2 immobiliser to get it through the test. It seems like a Sterling Excel should fit the bill, and these seem to be a reasonable price as well but... Section 13A of the IVA manual says that I need a certificate from a MESF or TRI accredited installer.

Can someone please recommend a reliable installer who can do the job and is local to Peterborough / Spalding area?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi
I have just fitted a sterling excel and it was very easy, not sure about the certification surely it works or it doesnt ? and you have the details from the packaging of what it is.
Its Skeg side of Boston if you want to have a look.
