Low seat for Fury

Hi, what is the lowest seat that people have found in a Fury without fitting a bag seat?

I assume a fibreglass style would be best without much or any padding, what have people found to be good?

Thanks

In my striker, which is the same, I have a # shaped frame with no runners. This is with a GRP seat and sits very low.

How are you guys mounting direct to a flat floor panel?

Surely you are reinforcing it somehow?

JK seats in my fury.
Sliders on drivers seat.
Passenger seat bolted down.

I have lowered my drivers seat floor as well.

I have base mount version jk seats, with a supporting frame for the runners as the striker seating area is too small for the seats to slide with the seats runners directly on the floor, you will be able to the runners directly onto the floor panel in your fury with the extra room.
The plain shell type need supporting on base/edges/backrest in multiple places, and are not easily adjustable due to this.
Here's some pics of the mountings, and the lack of space for the belts and handbrake cables.

Can you use a go kart type Tillett seat (or equivalent) in a fury or would it not offer enough support?

I've been thinking about this too.

My Riot has JP's foam pads slotted between the chassis rails and it passed IVA in 2011.

I recently bought a part built Fury, it came with fairly nice steel frame seats, but unless I slouch uncomfortably, I stare straight at the windscreen frame. The seats are not bolted down at the mo and have no adjusters. I was thinking about replicating the Riot seat pads to get as low as possible, but I was talking to someone who ought to know (works in the Kit Car industry and presents cars for IVA) and he said that the seats need to be on runners.

Do the seats now need to be adjustable for IVA?
