Pinto Style Clutch
Im in the process of swapping my flywheel, clutch and gearbox.
I need to order a Pinto style clutch plate and cover, but there seems to be a wide range of options cost wise.
Engine is a 1.8 silvertop, ported head, 275 cams and ITB's.
Will the standard items be ok, or will I need an uprated one? If uprated which one would your recommend?

What kind of power does that make? My gut instinct reply is that a good quality standard one will be fine.

I’d be expecting 180-190bhp i’d guess.

Should be fine with a standard clutch imo. Just make sure you get a decent quality one, not an ebay special, and you'll be fine.

Just remember a pinto clutch won't fit straight on unless the zetec flywheel has been drilled to accept one
