Lost helmet supplier - driving me nuts
David Jenkins - 20/2/09 at 12:50 PM

Sometime ago someone posted a link to a crash helmet supplier - not one of the big brands, only 2 models, made of C/F, white, one was for bikers and the other for car drivers. They also carried all the right markings for track use, and were relatively inexpensive.

Unfortunately I can't find that link!

I've done all sorts of searches, but I'm not 100% sure that it was on this forum.

Can anyone help?

This is the one I have (used it got to work today), simply superb. Got it from missy for crimbo. Quiet and very comfy plus it for 5 stars in the safety rating, totally recommend it and it comes with a nice padded bag too

That's the puppy! Cheers.

I was going to whinge about the VAT - then I remembered that it's only bike helmets that are zero-rated, IIRC...

Nice, but that D catch looks a bit fiddly.

Do you get used to them?

I haven't got one yet so can't comment . Will probably end up buying one in the next month or so though . They've had good reviews on other forums .

Once you get the knack they're really easy.

Those buckles are better than the "seatbelt" type ones. Nothing to go wrong. I have one on my aged Aria and its spot on.
