http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8_8PnKsf6U
whats the rattle noise i get when maintainging a steady speed above about 50? if i accelerate or slowdown slightly (even a tiny bit) it goes away
i know its the prop but down know which part / cause.
Thanks
Could be center bearing, could be touching something.
Could be loose prop adapter
Whatever it is you need to find out
have you checked all the bolts on the prop to make sure they are all tight etc? it might be the prop vibrating at its resonant frequency at 50, only it can make a rattling sound becuase one of the bolts is loose?

i would just whip the tunnel out and get your beady eyes in there asap, make sure that all the bolts are tightened up. check the couplings too
My mate's used to make a noise a bit like that. It was the centre bearing's dust seal that had come loose. So essentially there was a
metal ring jingling round the prop like a hula-hoop. Dunno why yours would go quiet on accel or decel though if that's what it is?
