Well - after many many hours of nightmare wiring she finally fired up this evening - and a very exciting moment it was as all those of you who have
done it know

If that was me, it wouldn't be daylight, it would probably be an engine fire.
I'd just flooded it - cranked it a few times with no pumps and now it runs and idles fine (if a little fast)
Now to get Hicost down to finish the dash wiring
