anyone come across onlinie plans for a space frame bike chassis in the style of a ducati?
would that be harder to make than a locoast chassis? There is less welding but the accuracy of the headstock is paramount and unlike a car front
suspension, is non adjustable.
but the rear suspension (swingarm pivot?) could be made adjustable to compensate.
(I've always fancied having a crack at MTB frame design/fabrication)
I`ve made a few drag bike frames - the most important thing is to build a good solid jig to hold all the bits that matter in the right place`s
And you need a good head for figures to work out just where you want to put those bits......
I made a few ducati style frames about 12 yrs ago for Yamaha LC motors, even one for a Yamaha FZR1000....had a wee feature in Streetfighter mag
too.

Easier to do than a car chassis.
