but essentially, the gearbox was taken off the car at the side of the road, then the car was towed to the breakers yard where the engine was removed (took 2 mins - pulled forward and it fell out, hehehe) front hubs, steering rack, steering linkages and some other random goodies

all for the price of a crate of grolsch and a crate of fosters excellant. had a rite laff with Carl who's car it was - he is mental - was a rite laff all day long and only took 3 hours to do the job, that includes towin it 2 miles to the scrappers. lol

Looked at the photos........the engine's f***ed then?

it was a runner this morning, but now, it isnt hehe

propper update done now and running commentry aswell. lol

well worth the 240 mile round trip - 20 quid in deezil and a laff a minit - bargain!
