Help finding a trailer wheel and tyre
bi22le - 3/3/21 at 10:51 PM

As I covering some distance this year I would like a spare wheel and tyre for my trailer.

It is an old AL-KO caravan chassis converted to take my car. It has 175/13" tyres but the PCD seems to be 4 stud 70mm. All of my Google skills has not returned one hint of a 70mm PCD wheel.

Can you help?

You sure you got that right, 70mm seems small.

I had a quick look on eb@y for "13 in caravan wheel" and one listed shows diagram of hole layout.

70 mm between adjacent studs
100mm between opposite studs = pcd

Well. . . . now you say that. . . .

I may of had an absolute brain fart and measured adjacent bolts.

Pythagoras gets 70mm at 99mm PCD so this looks like it may be right.

Maybe I should stick to drinking rum and step away from the garage.

beware, there are also wheels with 4 stud 98mm pcd

is there any code stamped in the wheel?
you will also need to match any 'offset'

that said, just a standard 13" caravan wheel is probably what you need

This looks like the best bet. It looks really similar to my wheel so can't be far off.

Thanks all.

If you want to buy new, I've had plenty of wheels & tyres and trailer bits from this place:
