zetec sump

Guy's, i am preparing to fit a modded
sierra cvh sump to my zetec engine but
don't have the steel spreader plates that fit between the sump and bolt heads.
My question is this; will it be ok if i fit it without, or am i asking for trouble?
Alternatively has anyone got a pair they would like to swap for beer tokens?

Andy

It will leak as its only ~1.5mm thick and will distort when you nip it up.

What engine are you fitting it to ? I am buggered if I can get mine to fit a blacktop

Andy, Yep ive fitted a couple to silver tops but cant get it on the black top.

Pick up fouls the crank webs and no provision for bolting the pick up down either.
