Hi all,
thanks for the compliment joel, it is always good to hear feedback from other people.
Yes the car shown with bodywork is the old spd car from ebay, My original plan was to use the car to do some circuit racing ( started to get itchy
feet see about us for details ) and to make a jig from whilst continuing to produce these cars as a kit, but when placed on a jig to my horror no two
mounting or pickup points where the same or symetrical and the centre line of the car was adrift by some 20mm in places and hence i decided to discard
the chassis and start afresh. The new chassis can be seen in detail on my website, a result of six weeks development and testing and a further two
weeks of finalising all the jigs to ensure accurate reproduction and correct alignment of pickup points and bodywork. In essence the picture was a
copyright free image to show an example of this style of car built up, as fundamentaly the siloutte ( minus rollcage ) remains the same. Wadders i see
you hail from leeds, do you fancy a trip over at the weekend to have a look as the more feedback the better, also the roads round perfect for that
summer time thrash !!
