wow, have you all seen the dax. I think it looks great, but its not realy a "low-cost" @ £7k. What do you all think?

Most standard Dax's end up at around 10-12K. Nowadays you have the option of their trick suspension, lightweight round tube chassis, 4WD etc etc - god knows how much you cuold spend.

They do look beautiful though - I'll be using the sculpted pieces of art that are their front and rear arches on my locost. Bit expensive but much nicer than anybody elses arches IMHO, and excellent quality too.

Except for the god awful asymetrical rollbar.......bloody horrible IMO

Agree, the quality is a nice standard to aim for though.

Oh yeah - or the 'selfish b***ard' rollbar as I like to call it. "My head's gonna be OK - shame about my passenger's". I can't see a single good point about that particular design of rollbar.

Having said that I didn't think twice about going for a ride in a certain 4.6 V8, 4WD, 'selfish b***ard' rollbar-equipped Dax Rush at Newark
