Don’t you mean dc electric motors? There’s quite a few companies that sell them and the required speed controllers (also very expensive).
Mk sports cars were experimenting with a kit a while back. Every time I see such cars they boast of the phenomenal performance but rubbish range, when
all I’d like is normal
performance and an abilty to get 200 miles out a charge instead of 20

Strangely enough I phoned a chap yesterday who has a damaged golf cart for sale (next project, stick in shed and forget about for a while ). Well,
work's only 3 miles away). I asked what he wanted for it, said what he'd been offered (but not heard back - yeah mate, it's cos it
ain't worth it) and told me he'd take about that amount.
"It's got new batteries," he said " and they're £140 each.
Me looks on internet, yeah in rip off GB they might be. In the good ol' US of A, about $120 (£65)!
Asked me what I'd pay for it and my thoughts were along the lines of I'll pay you 50 quid to deliver it!
Anyway, plan b, start collecting stuff and make it myself!
