Absolute bargain of an engine !!!

ok, browsing ebay and found this 2.0 pinto, carb model etc etc

now then, the part that surprised me, its going for £470!!!

that is more than three sierras that come free with the ol' boat anchor

is there something that i am missing about this engine that warrants the £470?

***eBay Link***

its not even rebuilt and in the sellers own words it "should be checked/serviced befor use"

I dont get it....

you can buy a whole car for that not just the engine

seems a bit much for just an engine to me

for some reason, the "205 block" bit mentioned at the right time can pull them in. Yes, it is a better block but I think it sells on the "emperor's new clothes" principle. I suppose you could also say it is a cossie block and get even more. The last pinto I sold went for over £1200 but it was far from standard!

Stick a link up and I'll bid £2 on your engine Ben. However, if I win the engine just keep it yourself and re-auction it. £2 is actually £202 more than I'd pay for a Pinto

Going on what novacaine's links auction winner has been buying, I'd say he's a bit of a Transit freak
