Add another zero and you would be close
Although it did have a few luxuries including hot water hand wash and bunk beds!

very interested, unfortunatley none of the pics are viewable unless you register... oh well thats another forum on my favourites!
We also decided on using Service Metals for our similar project (Yet to start) as they hold all the required a;li sections to do the job nicely

What does the trailer weigh with the new 'box' added?

I ask as I got pulled recently on the M5. Transit with some gear inside, 1820kg's. Four wheel trailer with some gear onboard, 1640kg's. Total just under 3500kg, so Transport guys just waved me out. This was on a set of mobile scales at a layby. They were stopping everything that looked vaguely commercial, including vans, artics and flatbeds of all sorts.

Cheers,
nev.

Surprised they let you go with a trailer full of gear!

Trailer MAM is 1600. Unladen mass is 400kg. Box should be (according to service metals densities) between 200 and 250 kg. Add 100kg for other fixtures and fittings and there's plenty left for a 450 kg car.
