That looks really good, what software did you do it in?

By the way, you missed the cycle wings

theres a hard top on the way, but my comp wont upload the pic for some reason...

the cycle wings are in carbon, probably hard to see over the stone tyres

next stop is the headlights and indicators i think

Its been modelled in rhino3d using NURBS, and rendered in flamingo raytrace

Oh yeah I can see the cycle wings now, silly me!

Is it an accurate model to help you decide dimensions or more an artistic one to help you choose colours, wheels etc? Looks good either way.

Very nice.
I am impressed by the latter alloys too.

Personally just feel its an exercise. Unless your doing many changes. So not really my thing though.

Mike,

i'm going for those colours but with ally sides and rear. i have the bodywork, so i might be able to clamp it in position next week so you can see what it looks like actually on a car!

otherwise scotlad has that colour scheme on his indy iirc.

HTH

Ned.

ps did you get the harness mounts ok?

beware, I've got yellow skin

Errm, any chance of a rendering with the car having black sides (where the ali goes) seems the company who are likely to supply my GRP don't do GRP sides and i know i can get the ali sides powder coated.

Cheers Tom, so any chance i could see what it would look like with Ali sides and Black sides?

Promise i'll stop after these two

If there is anything i can do in return just ask, this is much appreciated. Hmm, suppose it would be good if we could get a model where you could change the colours yourself - anyone know how to do it (bit like the westfield site has).

can anyone do a rendering in graphite grey with ac stripes in silver with graphite coloured ten spoke wheels? just want to see what the next one is going to look like.
would do it myself, but i found it easier to build the real car than to render it on a pc program

Could someone do me one with purple bodywork (except for the bonnet which should be black), a bonnet scoop, aeroscreen, 15 inch superleggeras with avon acb10s, an 'MK' nose grill, stencilling across the boot panel which says "Pete's burn machine", red springs, chrome wishbones, all leather interior, carbon fibre cycle wings, 4 point harnesses, and a toneaux cover (both on and off)?

Oh and while you're at it, any chance of modelling a photo-realistic Donington Park so that I can see what it would look like on track days?
