A new "secret Rush Super8 - seven style

Ulf Bolumlid, a wellknown builder here in sweden has a "secret" project of a new type of Seven.
The project is called Super8 and will be revieled at the Performance & Sportscar Show in Jönköping Sweden (14-17 april)

Rush has given him their latest chassi with their own aluminium V8, TWR500 drivechain, 18"rear and 17" Front, Brembos F1 Titanium brakes and so on...

A small hint on the look of it

A link to the show (probably only in swedish) that is Scandinavias biggest with 72.000 visitors last year. LocostSweden will be there again this year with 5 member cars

Oooh that looks like it's going to be nice!

Tell them things will improve once they've put the tyre balance weights inside the rim, not under the tyre

I've always loved Ulf's creations. I was even planning a vist to look at his Mania Spyder when I was looking at my first kit obviously with a spaceframe rather than a beetle floorpan.

For the quality he wasnt that expensive either.

A little update on the car. It was on display at Scandinavias biggest motor event.
It weighs 620kg with 450hp V8. On the pics it´s missing slim Carbon wings and something on the rear for the downforce.

Very pretty, unfortunately it's unlikely to be locost, especially with that engine.

No, not a locost. As I know what price the body parts sells for here in Sweden.
But maybe an inspiration for other builders.

There are small seats in it. They´re placed low to get the weight close to the ground.....

Needs a roll bar as it looks a little flat right now for me and it reminds me of a sorta Max Power locost

But other size very sweet

It's nice - but as with all these versions of Sevens they all end up looking very different once you put wings, some kind of screen, road legal lights front and back, decent braced roll bar etc, etc

Not knocking the idea - I would just save the final word on seeing it after SVA

Like the higher sides and doors....
