Just going out to buy a new wirecup brush from Machine fart,using my old one is like being attacked by 1000 amazonian indians with blow gun darts, all
of em aiming at yer goolies.
Anyone reckon that a knotted wire brush is better than crimped.
Cheers,
Bob
What really gets me (literally) is when you finish a job and wonder why your legs are hurting. Then you look down at your overalls and see lots of
little wires sticking out!
Later on I found my legs were covered in little red spots (but that may be a different medical condition...
)

Yeah, the knotted one's last much longer but in the end they all start impaling you when they've worn out. Think of it as free accupuncture
Cheers, Ted
Yep - if I remember I put on my leather welding apron before wire-brushing.
Then all I have to do is remember to sweep up before the dog walks through (bad words from the wife when that happens
)

Try "Strip & Clean" discs instead.I use them instead of rotary wire brushes.They do a better job.Screw fix have them,3M make them also.More money but worth it,And less painful.

Remember your goggles and a good mask when de rusting with these things,i made the mistake of thinking i didnt need a mask
.
I dont think rust is good for the old lungs,or all those cleaning chemicals i used for degreasing
.
Starting to feel a bit better now
