My parents have the above.
which has a wee poor handbrake system
it (apparently) has a very feeble construction, and dissasembles itself quite often. My parents have spent A LOT
having this repaired many times but it seems daewoo are unable to reapair
I have not had a look at it yet and was wondering if anyone had any experience with fitting an aftermarket system. What is available and who should I
speak to.
Any input greatfully recieved. (except "don't buy a daewoo"
)
Isn't the Nubira a recycled Vauxhall?
Would the bits from the equivalent Vauxhall be any better, and would they fit?
Worth a look.
Cheers
Chris
most of it is last years gm rubbish, they do make holes in different places to confuse you tho
I think its recycled vectra?
use the rear brake system from a MK3 astra
know a couple of people who have done this and had better sucess than with the self destructing daewoo
version.
thats if it has drums on the rear......if it hs disks, look for either the vectra rear disk set or mk3 gsi astra rear disk set.

Cheers graceland,
I have had a look at the nubira now, it has discs on the back(ABS), what I really need to know is what exactly i have to replace, the disc and
calipers are fine what is crap is the toy like go-kart drum brake type thing inside the disc hub.
what bits from the vectra rear braking system do I need. eg keep calipers and discs or scrap the lot.
Cheers for any advice
