eek!!!!!
stephen_gusterson - 15/3/04 at 08:39 PM

I have been at the NEC today on my companies stand.

Opposite us is the stnad of a dutch company that processes pigs - live pig in, bits out.

They have a video playing thats visible from our stand. The highlights were the bit where the machine removes the 'male parts'.

And..... the bung remover. This is basically a guide rod that goes up mr piggys ass, then a rotary cutter engages, rotates, and pulls out mr piggys ass and bowel.

Lovely.

Enjoy your tea

easy...library trip....

"Build your own pig disembowelling machine for 250 pounds.....and have bacon butties for tea"

Staple balls - 15/3/04 at 08:59 PM

only problem with the book is the errors... the meat you get out is only good for hotdogs

cmon pervmeister

you do mecchy stuff

you have built one already I bet!

for clues see :

The nice bit is they describe that lekky shock system used minimises bone breakage due to the shock. Chickens are not always killed by this method as it leads to lots of broken bones and blood spots. You dont want broken bone bits in yer chiccy burger do you?

So, piggy often gets snuffed out in a chamber full of Co2. Then zapped.

You dont want to fall into one of these machines!

We only have to look at the meat in a cellophane packet. Lucky we dont se ehow it gets there

Nah, I try and avoid that kind of project...nearest I've done is a robot to pack hot dogs....I don't do much food stuff......most of my stuff recently has been assembly machines for automotive and medical industries.....currently doing a machine to assemble ignition switches for Ford models...

Its a food and meat expo.

I work at a company that does food inspection machinery. Nice packaged food - nothing we have to kill!

Don't eat anything with a face. Leave that kind of thing to the Belgians and French.

bob - 15/3/04 at 11:25 PM

Interesting machine,so you throw a pig in one end and a sausage shoots out the other.

I've got a machine like that, but it works in reverse

If she ever reads this i'm dead

Fatboy Dave - 15/3/04 at 11:28 PM

So Bob, what's it worth me to not tell Mrs. Bob?

We'll start at all your tools, bits, car, and maybe a packet of Minstrels.

P.S. Senior builder now. Only taken me two years

Quote from Paul McCartney - "I wouldn't eat anything with a face"

At the time some wit said "I feel sorry for Linda, then."

His mother had the same maiden surname as mine, Ffrench with 2 f's and was from the same place as my Grandad. Nothing to do with anything but it interested me anyway .
