Google maps (mobile) Latitude
Ben_Copeland - 27/8/09 at 04:22 PM

Been playing with my google maps on my phone and they have a feature called latitude. It basically gives you the ability to track your friends and family using their google map enabled phone via your phone

Little icons come up on google maps and track them in real time.

Anyone on here us it?

My brother (RoadkillUK) and me have been using it for the last few days, it's pretty cool

It has problems if it hasn't had a GPS signal for while and it only updates every few minutes, but it's good enough to see whether he's at work or not etc (the car's stored at his house, so if he's out I can't get to it).

I'm chuffed with my Nokia 5800, there's alsorts to mess with on it, and locostbuilders runs fine on it on the move
