I hope this means bigger changes in the line up. Time to put Steve Wright out to pasture and make a slot for Mark Radcliffe and Lisa Tarby.

I'm with Flak. I can't stand either but especially not Wogan, I avoid anything with him in, he comes on parr to Forsyth except he's a bit more creepier to boot.

I don't think Chris Evans does a bad job, always manages to get some interesting & diverse non-celeb guests on, good music and the banter's pretty good.

I can't wait for Steve Wright and his afternoon mob to go on holiday though. Mark Radcliffe can do no wrong in my book and Lisa Tarbuck did the Saturday morning slot with Huey from the Fun Lovin' Criminals, it was some of the best radio I've ever heard.

As long as they don't give a prime time slot to Aled Jones I'm happy......

quiet news day today I guess.

I can't stand Wogan, and I rather like Chris Evans (!) which is a pain, because now its an easy choice, Today in the morning, then Evans in the evening.... might have to be Chris Evans then Eddie Mayer....

Best radio at the moment is Mark Radcliffe and Stuart McConie 8-10 on R2 - brilliant - hope they don't move them about

Ditto...Radcliffe and Maconie are very good listening in the evening, but I'm not sure they're quite right for the daytime slot.

Just read Mark Radcliffe's autobiography - a very readable memoir with some interesting pop and radio history included.
