Bah! Bloody Christmas. They've got all the chocolates and that in down at the Co Op already. Can't bleeding stand it. To me it's like the pinnacle of all the dark and miserable Winter days.

I love Christmas day itself for the familly aspect; big tasty dinner and plenty of booze and playing board games and watching old films on TV together. Having a young sprog also makes it that bit more special.

However I absolutely agree about the run up to Christmas, I hate it with a vengeance and have for a long time.

As far as I'm concerned, Christmas doesn't exist until 1st December.

I refuse to plan for it, buy presents or cards, even acknowledge that it's coming.
