Actual cost of parts required for factory cruise control on my volvo v70 £15.25
Cost of the software update required plus labour. Priceless...........
Well £600 anyway
why oh why oh why oh why oh didn't they have it from the factory. I has every other extra available
how hard is it to fit?
My A4 cruise control was a new stalk and steering wheel electronics which were the expensive part.
The reprogram I did using the VAGcom software and cable, so free. Is there something similar for the Volvo?
easy, its just an indicator stalk. all the hardware is there already as its drive by wire.
The main stealer can only do the software bit apparently.
Is that main dealer? Can you get it done anywhere else, cheaper?
just fit an after market one, there's tons on the web and all a doddle to fit

is that from a ovloV main dealer?
Is it not something an independent specialist could do?
IIRC when I asked about having cruise control retro fitted to my old Leon, the main dealer quoted in the region of £100 for supplying and fitting a
new column stalk. The functionality was already present in the ECU, just needed the controls to access it.
I shal search the web. The figures I gave were mates cost rates anyway. I'd hate to think what it would cost joe public
