^ thats what i thought...

i was expecting a smoother foam, like aero, or some kind of chocolate mousse
would have made a good alternative to the honeycomb stuff used in F1 (or they used to anyway)

Yep, I did a project on designing a composite chassis out of it when I was in my 3rd year at uni.

Interesting stuff

Super light too, and incredibly stiff.

Is it not a rather weird material to use though... in that you could not easily predict where a fracture point might occur due to the fact that the bubbles inside will never align in the same place in each replication of the component produced...
