suppliers and individuals get flamed on here when things go badly, but can't say enough good things about a member on here with the username "tapkutez".
he sometimes pops up and has listed things for sale every now and then. He's based out in Lithuania which I'm sure would itself set a few alarm bells ringing for private buyers.
I have recently bought some smiths gauges from him that he no longer needed for his BEC build and they arrived today. Not only was pricing reasonable, but the postage rate was excellent. The gauges arrived all individually padded and protected in about a week after funds clearing (thats including the postal strike!) Communication was excellent throughout too so I hope I can give people some confidence if he sells anything else in the future.
I'll post the picture he advertised with as they arrived in the exact same condition. I'm quite chuffed
what else would you expect of a fellow LBer!
