Being (probably) slightly younger than some of you I don't have a problem understanding that. Although I often suspect that people who write in that way are borderline braindead!

I misunderstood and thought he had purchased something and was waiting in for it so asked what he had purchased so I could track it for him, I was a
little puzzled as I could not find anything he had purchased from us.

Well i work at a college so they are students. But since they are all bright purls, you can only name them learners as they learn but don't study

It's nothing to do with age. I'm over 60 and can understand it without any problem.
I just choose not to.
