Help Me Remember
omega0684 - 1/11/09 at 12:03 AM

a very late evening to you all,

i have been racking my brain all evening but for the life of me a can't remember,

was there someone on the forum that soaked his driveshafts overnight in cheap coke cola as a means of degreasing and cleaning them,

can't remember whether it was on the forum or was posted by someone as a link to another site

Cheers

Sounds reasonable, it helps to get oil off your drive too. I hear that some people drink it though

I have heard of using it before.

I believe though, that it does damage.

Coke will remove all sorts, drop a 2p in a glass tonight and see what it looks like in morning.

Also revives oil contaminated slipping clutches, used it more than once during an event to bring a slipping clutch back to life.

coke will do it... its the phosphoric acid in it.
i mostly obtain some contaminated phos from work!
