Surprise surprise, it was declared a wet race at Cadwell on Sunday. Wet wasn't very accurate, monsoon would have been a more appropriate
description.
I looked at my in car footage from the qualification session and I really do need my head testing! Aquaplaning in a straight line on light throttle!
Thought I would share it with you and ask, has anyone raced in worse rain?

I've raced rwd Autograss in similar conditions where it is mud rather than water.
But, yes, you are mad. We all are!
As a slight aside, what shift light / dash is that? Looks quite effective even in those conditions
Yes raced in pretty much the same sort of conditions, but I only had two wheels, sorta slippery it was, :-) :-) Cheers Ray
Oh yes totally raving mad , but having said that i take my hat off to you, as i know only too well how much it rained that day as i am only a few
miles from Cadwell, oh have you dried out yet?

I was driving along the M25 & M4 on Sunday morning in that rain...

Definitely mad, did you have a problem with your helmet.

I can remember a tarmac rally at Smeatharpe (near Honiton) in torrential rain. The standing water was so deep you couldn't actually see a lot of
the track so cars ended up driving over completely random bits of the course at 5mph until they decided it was just too silly and went home. Or at
least tried to...the road back to Plymouth was completely flooded.

Did once kart in heavy snow, wouldn’t really call it a race as no one could see a damn thing once the helmets had started to fill up with snow and
then it turned into more like fun fare dodgem stuff just skidding into each other, still it was a right laugh. Snow and slicks don’t mix
Now that looks like fun
